Objective To investigate the techniques of the donor lungs harvest and recipient lung transplantation in canines sequential bilateral lung. Methods Sixteen canines were divided into eight groups randomly. In each group, the weight ranges varied within 5 percents. Improved clamp technique was used when transplanted right lung. Blood gas analysis, water content of the lung tissue and electron microscope were used to evaluate the lung function after operation. Results The technique of V shape clamp could improve left heart function, which caused by decreased returned blood volume when left atrium was clamped. The postoperative test results indicated that the transplanted lung function were satisfactoryConclusions The whole process of canines sequential bilateral lungs trans- plantation were obtained, " V" shape double-block technique could increase success ration of canines lungs transplantation.
