Objective: To observe the functional restoration of stomach intestine of patient aftert Operation on abdominal region,and estimate the auxoaction of WuMoQiTie for the functional restoration of stomach intestine of patient aftert Operation on abdominal region; To observe the effect of VIP and CGRP in the blood of the patient, and approach the effectiveness of mechanism of action of the WuMoQiTie.Methods: To select 40 cases that consistent with the standard of the study' s internalize and elimination (40 cases were all from the first surgery department, the first affiliated hospital of Guangzhou TCM University),According to random comparison principle,40 cases were divided into the treatment group who were treated whith the paste of bellybutton by WuMoQiTie and blank control group, the proportionality of the two groups was 1:1. Patients in the blank control group were instructed to do the early ambulation, but not to use any medicine that can promot the functional restoration of stomach intestine;As fast as the operative wound was suted in the treatment group, WuMoQiTie was applied outside of the patients umbilical part Shenque point, As if the patient whithout air bleed after 12 hours, was must to change a new paste again until passage of gas by anus is appeared.; Special messenger in charge of observe and record, every 3 hours stethoscopy abdomen one time, write down the recovery time of borborygmus and the time of passage of gas by anus. During the process of treatment, the person also observed the informations of superficial skin where the WuMoQiTie was used. As so as surgery finished and three days later take the examination of VIP and CGRP.Results:1,To contrast the recovery time of borborygmus and the time of passage of gas by anus between the two groups. (p＞0.05); In comparison of the content of VIP, the treatment group was lower than blank contrast group after treatment, there was significant difference(p＜0.05); In comparison of the content of VIP in the treatment group, pretherapy was higher than post-treatment, the difference had greatly significance(p＜0.01).3,In comparison of the content of CGRP, two groups were at the same level before treatment. (p＞0.05); In comparison of the content of CGRP, the treatment group was lower than blank contrast group after treatment, there was significant difference(p＜0.05); In comparison of the content of CGRP in the treatment group, pretherapy was higher than post-treatment, the difference had greatly significance(p＜0.01).Conlusion: The functional restoration of stomach intestine of patient aftert Operation on abdominal region can be notablely enhanced by using the WuMoQiTie, the recovery time of borborygmus and the time of passage of gas by anus can be greatly shortened, The mechanism maybe related to the restrain of VIPandCGRP by using the WuMoQiTie, The content of VIPandCGRP in patients serum was obviously degression, thereby enhanced the functional restoration of stomach intestine.
