ObjectiveIn the research, by observing the Epilepsy paroxysm frequency, lasing timeand electroencephalogram (EEG) after using both acupuncture and chinesetraditional medicine of "DingXianWan" treatment or taking Sodium Valproatepills, to evaluate the clinical effect of the different treatments.MethodWe randomly deride 62 cases diagnosed children Epilepsy into two groups, 32cases using both acupuncture and chinese traditional medicine of"DingXianWan" treatment (group 1), the other 30 cases taking Sodium Valproatepills(group 2),and then observe the Epilepsy paroxysm frequency, lasing timeand electroencephalogram (EEG) after the treatment, comparing their clinicaltotal effective rate.ResultThe patients' (group 1) effective rate of Epilepsy paroxysm frequency, lasing time and electroencephalogram (EEG) are better than group 2, (P<0.05).The clinical total effective rate of group 1 is 87.5%, the rate of group 2is 70%, and the difference between the two groups is significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThe treatment of both acupuncture and chinese traditional medicine of"DingXianWan" treatment can improve the electroencephalogram(EEG)and reducethe Epilepsy paroxysm frequency and lasing time. The clinical total effectiverate of group 1 is 87.5%, obviously higher than the rate of group 2.
