Effect On Quality Of Life About Patients With Breast Cancer Received Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy And Taohong Siwu Tang

Breast cancer is a severely injured women healthy disease. Recently twentyyears, the morbidity of breast cancer has been going up year by year. Alongwith medical model transformed from biomedical model to biology-psychological-social medicine, the idea of curing breast cancer has beenchanged. Quality of life, as a synthetical outcome, has been used widely inmeasurement system of cancers. Researching the Quality of life of the tumorpatients In the traditional Chinese medicine must be based on differentiationof symptoms and signs, which can reflect characteristic of the traditionalChinese medicine.ObjectiveThis study deals mainly with observing the quality of life of breast cancerpatients who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy and taohong siwu tang.MethodIn clinical research, 60 breast carcinoma patients with syndrome of bloodstasis were observed, 30 cases of breast cancer patients were randomly dividedinto therapy group(taohong siwu tang combined with chemotherapy) and controlgroup(chemotherapy alone).They were treated with three cycles of CEF.Result1. This research indicates that the therapy group is superior to controlgroup in physical well-being, emotion well-being,functional well-being andtotal quality of life,2. The therapy group is superior to control group in clinical syndrome,there is significant difference between the two groups.3. The therapy group is superior to control group in relieving white bloodcell and haematoglobin descending. There is significant difference betweenthe two groups. ConclusionThe therapy group is superior to control group in clinical syndrome, sideeffect and life quality. Chinese herbs combined with chemotherapy is aneffective method in treating breast cancer。It can improve the quality oflife and decrease toxic response.
