Motive(objective) and significance of the study:The study is to investigate urodynamic variability in patient suffered from paraplegia and the effect of micturition center on detrusor of bladder and ejaculator seminis without the control from bridge of varolius, mesencephalic centre and brainstem. Furthermore, our research is to analyze the regulation of lower urinary tract nerve on urination. Our study will provide theoretical evidence and positive data for improving of rational therapy to neurogenic bladder.Method and technical line of the study:The study included fifteen patients suffered from paraplegia. The urodynamic parameters including incipient detrusor muscle construction capacity, incipient detrusor muscle construction maximal detrusor pressure, maximum bladder capacity, maximum detrusor pressure, leak point detrusor pressure, maximal urethral pressure, maximal urethral closure pressure, functional urethral length and bladder compliancewere measured repeatly. The results were as follows:The urodynamic parameters including incipient detrusor muscle construction capacity (P=0.1341) , incipient detrusor muscle construction maximal detrusor pressure (P=0. 871) ,maximum bladder capacity (P=0. 774) , maximum detrusor pressure (P=0. 972), leak point detrusor pressure (P=0.730), maximal urethral pressure (P=0.870) , maximal urethral closure pressure (P=0.949) functional urethral length (P=0.844) and bladder compliance (P=0.492) were measured repeatly. The statistical results demonstrated that there were not a significant difference in the above urodynamic parameters between two exams. The conclusions we have drawn:Without the regulation of bridge of varolius, mesencephalic centre and brainstem, bladder and ejaculator seminis under the effect of micturition center in sacral cord on detrusor were steady.
