| Objective To explore the association between TCM syndrome type of vitiligo and HLA-DQB1 alleles, and further elucidate their effects on susceptilility of vitiligo. Methods 282 outpatients with vitiligo in Han ethnical Chinese in jiangzhe China were involved in our study, which were divided into five types including wind-damp-heat, deficiency of liver and kidney, blood-statis, GanyuQizhi, insufficiency of the spleen group. The blood samples of patients and 250 healthy Controls were collected to extracting DNA by phenol-chloroform method. The HLA-DQB1*0303, - DQB1*0602 alleles were detected by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with sequence specific primers(ssp). The association between TCM syndrome type of vitiligo and alleles were statistically analized. Results HLA-DQB1*0303 was found significantly increased in patients group than healthy controls(P<0.05). It had a significant increase in developing wind-damp-heat group and long term blood-statis group than controls(P<0.05). HLA-DQB 1*0602 had a noteble difference between patients with and without family history(P<0.05).Conclusion Of Han ethnical patients in Jiangzhe China, developing wind-damp-heat group and long term blood-statis group patients has a significantly susceptibility of vitiligo, HLA-DQB1*0602 may be associated with susceptible corporeity of vitiligo. |
