Objective To investigate the safety and feasibility of laparoscopic hepatectomy (LH) ,and evaluate the advantage compared with open hepatectomy (OH) . Methods Twenty six cases were selected in Taizhou Hospital from Jan.2005 to Jan. 2007,and were divided into LH group and OH group.Data of patients of two groups were compared, which included length of incision, surgical duration, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative eating date, time of drainage, hospital stay, complication and the cost. Results The mean of data of LH group was significantly less than that of OH group in such markers as length of incision, postoperative eating date, time of drainage(P<0.01), and postoperative hospital stay(P<0.05).The cost of operation of LH was higher than OH (P<0.01).There were no significant difference of surgical duration, intraoperative blood loss, total hospital stay and total cost between two groups(P>0.05).There was no complication in LH group, but pulmonary infection occurred in one patient in OH group. Conclusion Compared with OH, LH for selected patients is a perspective minimal invasive and safe technique, It was suitable to performed widely in our country. |
