The Efficacy Observation Of VAD Regimen In The Treatment Of Multiple Myeloma

Purpose: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of VAD regimen in the treatment of multiple myeloma(MM). Methods:22 patients with multiple myeloma were treated with VAD regimen. VAD solution consisted of vinorelbine(VLB),Pirarubicin(THP),dexamethasone(Dex). The efficacy of VAD regimen were evaluated after six continuous treatment courses. Evaluation indexs include results of serum myeloma protein( M—protein);creatine;bone marrow myeloma cell;peripheral blood counts etal.The side reactions were recorded.The therapeutic effectiveness was classified into partial remisson,improvement and uneffect. Result: 11 cases achieved partial remisson,9 cases improvement,2 cases uneffect.The total response rate was 90.9%. Conclusion: VAD regimen in treatment of multiple myeloma are significant and rapid response,less side effects.It is worthy for clinical widespread generalization.
