TORCH is a group of pathogens which can lead to prenatal infection. TORCH infection had a very serious damage to fetal .and a great threat to newborns. for example disorder and disform and death. In this article we had given the neonates in our hospital TORCH-IgM TORCH-IgG tests to find out their infection conditions. At the same time The level of IL-6 IFN-γ IL-8 of inpatients in serums are the important parts in the immunologic systerm. so we studied the levels of IL-6 IFN-γ IL-8 in serums of patients with positive TORCH-IgM to investigate variations of cytokine in cytokine networks in neonates with positive TORCH-IgM and its clinical significance, to discuss the dynamic changes of immunity.Materials and methodsStudy subjects1.1 TORCH detection group were the inpatients treated in the department of pediatrics of our hospital from Augest 2003 to Augest 2005. there were 139 males and 78 females. Their gestation age were 28 to 41 weeks. The incidental age was from 0.5 hours to 28 days. The newborns with positive TORCH IgM were listed as the first group in the following group. The second group were the neonates with positive TORCH IgG and negative TORCH IgM.
