The trainning program was designed to change knowledge and influence the attitudes of registered nurses. The following specific questions were addressed in the research:1. To identify the level of nurses' knowledge and attitude about postoperative pain management before the training program.2. To evaluate the training program in updating surgical nurses' knowledge about postoperative pain and pain management at the end of 3 months.3. To evaluate the effect of the trainning program on patient outcomes at the end of 3 months.Instruments1. The Nurses' Knowledge and Attitude Survey(NKAS)The NKAS is a self-administered, 39-item inventory that measures surgical nurses' knowledge and attitude.
