Recently, the digital level of the hospital improves obviously for the development of the information systems used in the hospital such as PACS, as well as the clinical decision, management, workflow and the other relative clinical behavior. Synchronously, a mass of data about health care pile up. Yet not all of them are useful because they can not communicate with each other, so we have to repeat the same content in different information systems and the isolated information islands came into being. Now most of the scientists focus on the data interchanges among the diverse information system to enhance the worth of the data and the consistence of the patients' record. The clinical information standardization is the primary reason which results in the issue. For an example, in most of the PACS, its diagnosis report just can be viewed on the PACS workstation but not for the other information system without the support to the DICOM standards. What's more, the information generated by the PACS can not be provided as a source for access by internet or intranet through the other information system. Therefore, the patients have to go with their report when they transfer to other department or health care enterprise. As to the issues, we make efforts to remove the obstacle of the information interchange in the health care enterprise. As with any structured data in health care, benefits exist in outcome analysis and point-of-care applications. Structured report...
