Objective To investigate the expression and its clinicopathological significance of P57KIP2,cyclinA and PCNA in human laryngeal carcinoma. Methods The expression of P57KIP2,cyclinA and PCNA proteins were examined by S-P immunohistochemical technique in tumor tissues of 40 patients with laryngeal carcinoma. 20 cases adjacent normal laryngeal tissue and dysplastic squamous epithlium used as control and comparison. Results The P57KIP2 protein positive rate in human laryngeal carcinoma was 42.5%, which was lower than that in normal laryngeal tissue (P<0.05). The P57KIP2 protein positive-expression was significant difference with tumor differentiation and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05), but was not significant difference with different age, sex, tumor site and clinical staging in laryngeal carcinoma patient(P>0.05). The cyclinA and PCNA protein positive rate in human laryngeal carcinoma were 55% and 62.5% respectively, which was higher than that in normal laryngeal tissue (P<0.05). cyclinA and...
