Glucose transporter (GLUT1 - GLUT14) is a polygene family whose structure is similar but function is different. It is reported that GLUT1 expresses highly in many kinds of malignant tumors and it is related to development of malignant tumors. It is hopeful that GLUT1 become a new marker that early diagnoses and estimate prognosis of tumors. IGF-1 is a polypeptide with single chain that has 70 amino acid which has highly homologous relationship with preinsulin and it is important to development of tissue or cells. IGF1 plays important functions in cell's proliferation and apoptosis and tumor's development and transfer through binding to its receptor. The highly expression of IGF-1 and its receptor on the tumor cell surface is probably the main reason which cause tumor cell sproliferation and transfermation.
