Backgroud and objectiveThyroid carcinoma is the most common endocrine malignancy of thyroid. The number of thyroid carcinomas is account for 1% of all malignancy tumors. In the US, 12,000 new cases are diagnosed annually (0.004% of the population). Tumors derived from thyroid epithelial cells are among the most common clinically recognized neoplasms. They include well differentiated papillary or follicular carcinoma, poorly differentiated medullary carcinoma, and dedifferentiated or anaplastic carcinoma. There are different biology behave, clinical characteristic, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis for different type of pathology thyroid carcinomas. The investigation were analyzed the clinical data of patients with thyroid carcinoma who suffered surgical treatment in the first affiliated hospital Zhengzhou University retrospectively. To analyzed the incidence and variety of thyroid malignant tumor in different ages and thyroid suffered surgical treatment, and sum up the therapeutic effect.
