Background and Objective: To detect the expressions of serum TGF-β1 inpatients with chronic hepatitis B on different phases of fibrosis, to investigate the relationship between TGF-β1 and fibrosis stage and to evaluate the clinical diagnosis value of TGF-β1 in hepatic fibrosis. Making up the limitation of liver puncture histo-pathology diagnosis can't use generally clinically because of its traumatism, duplicates with difficulties and puncture errors. Offering a sensitive serum marker to diagnose the hepatic fibrosis of patients with chronic viral hepatitis B and offering datum to diagnose the hepatic fibrosis associate with others serum markers. Methods: Serum TGF-β1 was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, serum HA, LN, PIIINP, CIV were detected by radioimmunoassay in 40 patients with chronic hepatitis B. At the same time, 12 healthy persons were selected as normal controls and serum level of TGF-β1,HA,LN,PIIINP,CIV were detected in them. Liver punctures were performed in 40 patients and samples of hepatic tissue were dyeing by HE and Mansson. Hepatic fibrosis staging and hepatitis grading were strictly performed according to the standard of prevention and treatment scheme of viral hepatitis formulated by Chinese Medical Association. The results were analyzed with one-way ANOVA and pearson correlation by SPSS10.0 and the standard of statistic significance was established as a=0.05. Relationship between TGF-β1, HA, LN, PIIINP, CIV and...
