| Objective: According to the rise of people's living standard and the development of society ,cerebrovascular diseases' incidence rate was rising year and year .Nowdays cerebrovascular diseases are the third cause for death in the whole world ,therefore the study in this field has been an important aspect of medical research. Reperfusion after cerebral ischemia can induce more serious damage than of cerebral ischemia itself.The reestablishment of circulation has lausative role in this reperfusion,include microvascular endothelial cell swelling necrosis and dysfuction of synthes izing cytokines by microvascular endothelium then the normal cerebral blood is not supplied propely. Focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion model was made with suture-occlude method. The content of LD in serum was measured, the expressive levels of FAS-L of brain tissue during the cerebral ischemia- reperfusion were detected by immunohistochemical method.To determine effects and mechanisms of Danxingtongluotang(DX) on focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion in rats.Methods: Forty SD male rats were divided randomly into 4 groups( n=10 ) :sham-operated group; Cerebral ischemia- reperfusion group;nimmodipine group and DX group. Focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion model was made with suture-occlude method. Groups of cerebral ischemia for 2 h then reperfusion 24 hours . DX groups were given to DX at dose of 7.5ml/kg;Nimmodipine at 20ml/kg,once a day. Saline were given to sham operation group and I/R group at 20ml/kg weight.
