The experiment observe cerebral ischemia-reperfusion model rat MDA contents, SOD activity, observe in serum the brain c- fos gene expression and the behavior change and discussion protective functions and mechanisms of dan xing tong luo tang .Objective: To study the protection and mechanism of danxingtongluotang on focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion rats.methods: fifty SD male rats were divided randomly into 5 groups: Group A, sham-operated + NS; Group B, cerebral ischemia–reperfusion + NS; Group C,cerebral ischemia-reperfusion + nimmodipine; Group D, cerebral ischemia–reperfusion + high -dose DX; Group E, cerebral ischemia - reperfusion + small-dose DX. Groups A,B,C,D,E, were feed with NS, nimmodipine, DX . Focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion modle was made with suture-occlude method. Groups of cerebral ischemia for 2 h then reperfusion 24 h .
