Tumor of the ovary is common tumor in female reproductive system. In recent years, study focus on early diagnosis and therapy of ovary tumor in domestic and abroad. Regulator control system of cell cycle system has close relationship with cell proliferation. Cyclins plays a very important role in cell proliferation and cell differentiation. Abnormality of its function is normal changes in tumor. The normal progress of cell cycle depends on the balance of positive and negative regulation. Cell growth regulating factor include three types factors: cyclins, cycle-dependent kinases and cycle-dependent kinases inhibitors. To surround the CDK, cyclins have positive effects, and promote the cell proliferation, while CK2Is have negative contribution. The progress of cell cycle from G1 to M have many checkpoints, while G1 to S stage is the most important checkpoint, because it's a rate limiting stage, and this stage decide the length of cell cycle. If cell pass through this checkpoint, it needn't depend on the motivation of exogenous division growth signals, and the cell will finish cell cycle. It is very important for a cell from G1 to S stage in cellcycle. Cyclin E, the same to Cyclin D, can combine with CDK2, but this binding is slightly later. Cyclin E not only has effects to cell cycle stage: G1/S but also it's very important for the starting of DNA replication. Now, it is believed that generation and development of many tumors concerned with abnormally expression of Cyclin E. Over expressed Cyclin E induced malignant tumor of the ovary on transgenic mice. Research indicated that Cyclin E had been became the marker of breast cancer.
