The incidence of colorectal cancers has raised up to the third of malignant tumor in the whole world,and it is the second death causes of tumors.The present studies showed that more than one factor and procedure take part in the occurance of colorectal cancers.It had relationships with not only the susceptibility of heredity,but also the nutrient factors in foods.It was known that the nutrient factors have positive and negative effects on the occurance of the colorectal cancers.China, Japan and Korea are much similar in history and geography,but they all have their own cultures and diet traditions.So it has important scientific significance to study the relationship among dietary habit,diet structure, susceptibility of heredity and colorectal cancer.In this study,we carried out the investigation of the 3-day-weighted records,health and dietary habits questionnaire in the urban and rural areas of Chongqing adult people.The Semi-quantative Food Frequency Questionnaire(SQFFQ) was formulated and adapted to the Chongqing people,and the validity and reproducility of the SQFFQ were tested. In the last two years,we had collected the blood specimen of the colorectal cancers and the control patients,and recorded the base information and the nutrient intaked by the patients.We have made the foundation for the later assay of gene polymorphism,and our final purpose is to find the dangerous and protective factors of the colorectal cancer in the food nutrients.The main results are as follows:1. This investigation included 171 kinds of foods in urban areas and 166 kinds of foods in rural areas.After the selection by cumulative contribution analysis and multi-regress analysis,there were 100 kinds of foods remained in the urban and 84 kinds in the rural SQFFQ food list respectively.Merged down the urban and rural food list, 106 kinds of foods remained in the SQFFQ.In consideration of the seasons of investigation, 13...
