As the Regulations of Handling of Medical Negligence and other related policies and regulations take effect these years, China's medical and hygienic undertaking has stepped into a relatively mature stage of law-based administration. On the one hand, therefore, the patients'interests have been well protected; however, on the other hand, the licensed doctors are suffering from growingly high psychological pressures due to the imperfection of the professional atmosphere, the pressures imposed by laws and the high risks of the medical sciences. It follows that some doctors lack the senses of security and confidence, even resist innovations. This dissertation intends to make a sampled survey of the psychological pressures imposed on some licensed doctors in Chongqing municipal city's third-class hospitals. By using psychological questionnaires and scales in this investigation, this dissertation comes up some conclusions as follows: 1) a wide spread anxiety is found among the sampled subjects, which is higher than the normal measure; 2) the degree of psychological pressures measured after the enactment of the Regulations of Handling of Medical Negligence is higher than that before. Owing to the positive correlativity between the Regulations of Handling of Medical Negligence and the degree of pressures, it can be justified that the Regulations of Handling of Medical Negligence has strengthened the overall pressures on the sampled subjects.
