Clinical Study On CongYinYinYang Decoction In Treating Middle And Old-Aged Psoriasis Vulgaris And Detection Of IL-2, IL-6 And IL-8

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of CongYinYinYang (CYYY) decoction,a anagraph of my tutor, on middle and old–Aged psoriasis vulgaris(PV) and effection on IL-2 , IL-6 and IL-8.To investigate the action of IL-2 , IL-6 and IL-8 on the pathogenesis of PV and its clinical significance.To investigate the possible mechanism of CYYY decoction in treating middle and old–Aged PV.Methods:87 cases with PV recruited was divided into two groups randomly, CYYY decoction group of 47 persons ,as compared with FuFangQingDai(FFQD) pill group of 40 persons, 8 weeks as a course.Before and after treatment, damage and distribution of skin, severity of erythema , quantity of dry scaly skin bits,degree of pruritus and soakage and side effect were observed,the level of IL-2 , IL-6and IL-8 of 20 CYYY decoction group were measured and was comparied with 10 normal person's.Results:Cure and obvious effect rate of CYYY decoction group is 76.59% with total effect rate of 93.62%,better than FFQD pill group,there are notable difference between two groups(P<0.05).After trestment ,the level of IL-2 , IL-6 and IL-8 is decreased obviously,but higher than normal person's , there are notable difference (P<0.05).Conclusion:CYYY decoction has reliable efficacy , low recurrence rate and side effect on treatment of middle and old–Aged PV.Adjustment to level of cytokine might be the mechanisn that CYYY decoction action on PV.
