Objective: To observe the clinical effects of Chinese Medcine Psoriasis Prescription No.1 in treating Psoriasis vulgaris. To Probe into the possible mechanism of Psoriasis Prescription No.1 in treating psoriasis vulgaris. Methods: To divide 96 examples infected with psoriasis vulgaris into two groups. Give the curing group Psoriasis Prescription No.1, while give the comparing group Tripterygium Wilfordii. To observe the skin lesions, erythema, infiltration, squama changes before and after being treated. The mice of 60, C57 will be divided into six groups: small, medium and large doses of traditional Chinese medicine, tripterygium glycosides, tripterygium glycosides plus Chinese medicine and saline gavage during the experiment. To observe the effects of Psoriasis Prescription No.1 on the animal model of psoriasis tail scales, estrogen and vaginal epithelium in serum levels of cytokines. Results: (1) the overall efficiency of Psoriasis Prescription No.1 is 66.67%, the overall efficiency of tripterygium glycosides is 38.10%.These two numbers show apparent difference by comparison(p<0.5). (2)The accumulated symptom score after being treated decreased comparing with that before being treated, and the difference is evident (p<0.5). (3)The experiment shows that Psoriasis Prescription No.1 can evidently resist against the vaginal epithelium mitosis, obviously accelerate the forming of tail-scale particles, and the doses of IFN-γ, GM-CSF, IL-17, IL-4 in Chinese medicine treatment groups of mice serum increase at various levels. Conclusion: Psoriasis Prescription No.1 works positively on the treatment of Psoriasis vulgaris, and its possible functional mechanism has something to do with its inhibit epidermal cell proliferation, immunity regulation, and so on.
