Portfolio Evaluation is an important evaluative way advocated by New Course Innovation. It is an ideal mode to evaluate students' general situation including the progressive process, the level of hard-working, the abilities of self-analyses and the ultimate development. Through the explanation to the fundamental theories and significance of portfolio Evaluation, this study use foreign practical experience for reference, take students in middle vocational as studying objects and carry through experimental study in the course of anatomy teaching. The purpose of this studying is to explore and make use of the concrete operative ways and strategies of Portfolio Evaluation, and to grope for its feasibilities and validities when applied in middle vocational school.This article consists of six sections. First from the analyses of the requirement of New Course Innovation, it explains the necessity of carrying through the job of Portfolio Evaluation in middle vocational school; the second section detailed the development of Portfolio Evaluation in foreign countries; the third section and fourth section mainly discussed the strategies and principles of carrying though the Portfolio Evaluation; the fifth and sixth section summarized and studied the activities of Portfolio Evaluation carried though in anatomy teaching in middle vocational school. The final results showed that Portfolio Evaluation is a truly effective way in enhancing the confidence of students in the course of study and it can raise the learning interest of students, in the same time it helped students to do self-analyses and explore students' general abilities. The study may provide some useful references for the middle vocational school in carrying though Portfolio Evaluation.
