The Evaluation Of The Cooperative Medical Scheme's State Of Operation In The Experimental Counties

Objective: The cooperative medical scheme management institutions designated medical establishments and the persons who have taken part in it in the experimental counties in 2003~2004 in Henan province were investigated to analyze the strong points and weakness between the two cooperative medical scheme models and to learn from each other to make up deficiencies. The two models are Xinxiang model where it is managed by the commercial medical insurance organization and the model exists in other places besides Xinxiang where it is managed by the cooperative medical insurance management office. In addition, the state of operation of Henan's cooperative medical scheme was generally assessed to find out the standout success and deficiencies. Thus, advice about the related policies was put forward for the sustainable development of the cooperative medical scheme in Henan province.Methods: According to the methods designed by the National Health Service gross investigation, Cluster, stratified and multistage sampling method was used. The investigator was strictly trained to interview the related departments and the persons who have taken part in the cooperative medical scheme. SPSS 11.5 was used to handle the data and to analyze the state of operation of the two models respectively. The size of the test is 0.05.Results:1 ,The degree of people's activity to take part in the cooperative medical scheme is high.
