Part â…  Effects of Traditional Chinese Medicine YiBiQing Grain on the Motion of Gastro-intestines in Experimental AnimalsObjective: To investigate the effects of traditional Chinese medicine YiBiQing grain on the gastric emptying, intestinal propulsion, counts of damp excrement of KM mouse and movement of isolated small intestine smooth muscle of guinea pig in experiment. Methods: 32 KM mice were randomly devided into 4 groups: control group (n=8), YiBiQing grain groups(low, high dose, n=8, 8), posotive drug(cisaprid) group(n=8). After administrating orally, the remaining rate of substance in stomach, the distance that the mixture of Arabian gel and active charcoal powder in intestines is carried forward of all groups were measured and contrasted. 40 KM mice were randomly devided into 4 groups: control group (n=10), YiBiQing grain groups(low, high dose, n=10, 10), posotive drug(10% Fanxieye) group(n=10). After administrating orally, the counts of damp excrement in 4 hours of all groups were recorded and compared. The samples of isolated ileum segment from 40 guinea pigs were prepared, and were randomly devided into 5 groups: control group (n=8), YiBiQing grain groups(low, middle, high dose, n=8, 8, 8), posotive drug(acetylcholine, Ach) group (n=8). Then the contraction intensity and frequency of gut smooth muscle of every group was measured and compared pre- and post-treatment of Yibiqing grain. Results: Traditional Chinese medicine YiBiQing grain could markedly improve gastric emptying(P<0.05), accelerate the intestinal propulsion and increase counts of damp excrement in mice (P<0.05, P<0.01). Furthermore, YiBiQing grain could significantly reinforce the contraction intensity of isolated small intestine smooth muscle in guinea pigs (P<0.05).Conclusion: Traditional Chinese medicine YiBiQing grain has the function of promoting the motion of gastro-intetines in the experimental animals.Part II Influence of Traditional Chinese Medicine YiBiQing Grain on the Rats with Acute PancreatitisObjective: Prob the influence of traditional Chinese medicine YiBiQing grain on the Wistar rats with acute pancreatitis(AP).Methods: The model of Wistar rats in acute pancreatitis were created by retrograde injection of 5% natrium taurocholate(NaTc) into the bile-pancreatin duct. 68 Wistar rats were randomly devided into 6 groups: control group(n=8), AP group (n=12), AP+YiBiQing grain groups(low, middle, high dose, n= 12,12,12), AP+positive drug(Dahuang) group(n=12). Observed and contrasted the effects of YiBiQing grain on the serum amylase(AMS) of all groups and the pathology change of their pancreatic organ under naked eye and optical microscope after treatment. Results: After injection of 5% NaTc into bile-pancreatin duct, APgroup's serum AMS activity was obviously higher than control group's at 24 h and 72 h(P<0.01); AP+YiBiQing middle, high dose groups and AP+Dahuang group's serum AMS activities were evidently lower than that of AP group at 24 h(P<0.05, PO.01), furthermore, their serum AMS activities were close to that of control group at 72 h (P>0.05). At 72 h, the pathology change of pancreas in the survival rats under naked eye and optical microscope suggest that the pathology changes of all groups accepted treatment were distinctly more low-grade than that of AP group(P<0.01, P<0.05).Conclusion: Traditional Chinese medicine YiBiQing grain middle, high dose could markedly decrease the level of serum AMS of AP rats induced by 5% NaTc, and release their pathology change of pancreas.
