The Clinical Research Of Acupuncture Combined With Chinese Herbal Medicine Therapy Of Depression

Based on my supervisor in clinical experiences for many years,the way of acupuncture combined with Chinese herbal medicine is a good therapy with exact clinical effect and less side-effect.The therapy is summarized through close clinical observing and is used to cure the symptom of depression.In order to confirm the reliability of the clinical effect objectively,we selected 120 patients who had got the depression of liver qi stagnation in the research,and divided them into two groups at random. Each group had 60 cases,the treated one used the therapy of acupuncture-medicine,while the contrast group were treated with fluoxetine.The treatment efficacy was judged by the grades of reduce the dividing rate and side reaction amount form ,which is calculated by HAMD scale.The results show:after one period of treatment,by comparison the treated group had got a quicker effect than the contrast one ,that was P<0.01;after four courses, the treated one still gad a more obvious effect than another group.On the side reaction respect ,it indicates the therapy of acupuncture-medicine is superior to Western medicine fluoxetine,and is with less side-effect,safety and reliability in treating the depression of liver qi stagnation.So it can be used as an effective method to cure the symptom If depression,it also has a broad prospect and spread value.
