| Objective: To evaluate the effect of dispersing liver, nourishing blood stasis, tranquilizing mind on premature Ventricular Beats (PVB) in elderly patients suffering Coronary Heart Disease (CHD).Methods: 58 patients with CHD and PVB were randomly divided into 2 groups: control group (32cases) were treated with Wenxin Particle; treatment group (26cases) were given the medicine of dispersing liver, nourishing blood, and removing blood stasis, tranquilizing mind orally. After 4 weeks. Observe Clinical effect, the effect of blood lipid and viscosity, etc.Results: 1. the results showed that the frequencies of PVB of CHD markedly decreased and that myocardial ischemia of CHD improved in both groups at the end of the trial. Difference was significant between the pre- and post treatment (P<0.01), but insignificant between the two groups (P>0.05) 2. In the aspects of improving clinical symptoms, blood lipid and viscosity, the treatment group is obviously superior to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: The method of dispersing liver, nourishing blood, and removing blood stasis, tranquilizing mind has significant treating effects for PVB of CHD in elderly, and improves clinical symptoms, decreases blood lipid and viscosity, and has no side effects.
