Clinical Research On Unovulation Infertility By Fumigating The Navel With Chinese Herbs Beneath The Moxa Cone

Unovulation infertility belongs to the range of kidney asthenia in Tradition Chinese Medicine.We respectively treated 60 cases of women patients by fumigating the navel with herbs beneath the moxa cone and taking oral western medicine,and then observed the changes of basal body temperature,ovum growth,six sorts of sexual hormone in serum and compared the rate between ovulation and pregnancy.We come to the conclution that the pregnancy rate of fumigating the navel with herbs beneath the moxa cone was superior to that of taking oral western medicine(clomiphene citrate).There was a significant difference between the two groups in pregnancy rate.This method could nourish the deficiency of the kidney and the function of hypothalamus-pituitary-ovary axis.This indicated the superiority and effectiveness of fumigating the navel with herbs beneath the moxa cone in treating unovulation infertility and proved this method was a simple and effective treatment.
