Objective: Ischemic apoplexy is a frequently occurring illness and common disease and hazardous to human health. It is characterized by high morbidity, high fatality, high mutilation rate and high recurrence rate. So it is an important topic of social focus to prevent and cure it. In this study ,we explore the therapeutical effect and the mechanism of Huonaokang on ischemic cerebral injured on the ground of primary clinical observation and animal studies.Methods: We firstly establish cerebral ischemia rat model . And then detect the expression of Bcl-2,TGF- β1 and P38 of normal control(A), sham operation(B), model(C), Huonaokang (D) and buchangnaoxintong positive control(E) by immunity histochemical method ; Infiltration of macrophage is detected by histochemical method.Result: Contrary to group A and B, Bcl-2,TGF- β1 and P38 of group C, D, E is expressed increasely(P< 0.001 ) , group D and E are more obviously(P<0.01,P<0.05 and P< 0.001) ; Macrophage infiltration of group C increase obviously (P< 0.001) , contrary to group C, that of group D,E decrease obviously (P< 0.001) ; but it is more than that of group A and B.Conclusion: (1)Huonaokang can increase the expression of Bcl-2 and diminish apoptosis of ischemic cerebral; (2)Huonaokang can increase the expression of TNF- β 1 and protect neurone;(3) Huonaokang can increase the expression of synaptophysin p38 and promote synapse reconstruction and enhance and consummate the function of reconstructive synapse; (4) Huonaokang can block and decrease the infiltration of macrophage and lessen cerebral inflammation and defense ischemic cerebral injure elicited by macrophage.
