Clinical Study Of Therapy Of Western Medicine Combined With Traditional Chinese Medeicine On Protrusion Of Lumber Dise

Objective: To investigate the effect of synthetical treatment in treating Protrusion of Lumber Disc (PLD) and discuss its mechanisms. Methods: 128 cases of PLD, were randomly devided into two groups. Of which, 98 cases were set as synthetical treatment group, while other 30 cases were set as control group treated with traction combined with sacral-injection. Results: The clinical observation showed that sythetical treatment could obviously reduce the cumulative scoring of clinical symptoms and of VAS of patients, and could increase the number of the straight-leg lifting test. After sythetic treatment, the effective rate was up to 96.94% and the difference was significant compared to control group (P<0.01) .The result shows that synthetical treatment is better than traction combined with sacral-injection.The experiment data of treatment group shows that sythetical treatment could obviously reduce the excessive hBL, hBH, hp and PAR. It also shows that sythetical treatment has difference effect in treating L_4-5 and L₅^S₁ .The effect is better in treating L_4-5 than L₅^S₁ (P<0.05). Conclusion: 1.The curative effect of synthetical treatment is better than traction combined with sacral-injection in treating PLD. 2. Synthetical treatment has the function of improving the haemorheology. 3. It has different effect in treating L_4-5 and L₅^S₁.
