Objective: To investigate the effect of Yi Qi Zi Yin Huo Xue Formular on diabetes mellitus combined with cerebral stroke, and to study the effective mechanism.Theoretical exploit: the basic pathology of diabetes mellitus combined with cerebral stroke as both Qi and Yin deficiency and blood stagnation was discussed. The treating principle of TCM was also discussed as tonifying the Qi and Yin, as well as invigrating blood circulation. Modern medicine think that hyperglycemia, hypertention, hyperlipid, insulin resistance, high agglutination and aggregation, disorder of blood rheology, sac-charified protein, free radic lesion and so many factors result in the disease.Method: 90(ninty) standard clinical cases are divided into two random groups and treated respectively. Result: It is shown that the obviously effective rate in the treated group is46%, the totally effective rate 90%; and in the controlled group the obviously effective rate is 32.5%. The total effective rate 75%, There is significant difference between them through statistical management (P<0.05). It can decrease blood sugar, blood lipid, HbAlc, rise insulin sensitive index.Doppler dispiay: laser with TCM group can alter abnormality rate of MCA, PCA.The experimental study indicates that Yi Qi Zi Yin Huo Xue Formular may Drop-down NO, and improve the content of SOD in blood, resist the damage of free radical. Conclusion: Yi Qi Zi Yin Huo Xue Formular can reduce blood viscidity, regulate blood flow condition, reduce blood lipids, improve microcirculation, and raise brain blood flow, which proves the mechanism and effectiveness on diabetes mellitus combined with cerebral stroke.
