Clinical Observation Of Tangning Pill In The Treatment Of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of tangningwan in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.Method: A total of 60 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,each of 30 cases.Both groups were treated with conventional treatment,the treatment group were additionally treated with tangningwan,the course of treatment was 8 weeks,the changes of clinical symptoms,TCM syndromes,fasting blood glucose,2 hour postprandial blood glucose,hemoglobin a1 c and fasting insulin were observed before and after treatment.Results:1.Before the treatment,there was no significant difference in TCM syndrome scores between the two groups(P>0.05);After 8 weeks of the treatment,both clinical efficacy and TCM syndrome efficacy of the two groups were improved,the improvement in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Before the treatment,there was no significant difference between the two groups in fasting blood glucose,2 hour postprandial blood glucose and HbA1c(P> 0.05);After the treatment,fasting blood glucose,2h postprandial blood glucose and HbA1 c of the two groups decreased,and the degree of decline in the treatment group was greater than that in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).3.Before the treatment,there was no significant difference between two groups in fasting insulin(P>0.05);After the treatment,the improvement of fasting insulin in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05).4.No obvious adverse reactions and side effects were found in both groups during the treatment.Conclusions:1.Tangningwan combined with western medicine in the treatment of type 2 diabetes can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients,control blood sugar,reduce insulin resistance,and the effect is better than the control group.2.Tangning pill has no obvious toxic and side effects and is safe and effective.It is worthy of further promotion and application.
