| Objective: To compare the effect of therapy of Yi Kang Zhu Yun Decoction and glucocorticoid hormone in treating female immunologic infertility. Methods: 93 female patients with primary or secondary infertility with serum antisperm antibody (+), anti-ovarian antibody(+), anti-endometrial antibody(+) and anti-cardiolipin antibody(+) were randomly divided into the treat group (47 cases) and the control group (46 cases). Patients in the treat group were treated with Yi Kang Zhu Yun Decoction periodically. Patients in the control group were treated with prednisone, vitamin E and vitamin C periodically for 20 days as one cycle, 2 cycles as one course of treatment.Negative transformations of the above-mentioned antibodies and pregnancy were detected after one or two course of treatment. Results: After the first course of treatment, all the above-mentioned antibodies in the treat group transformed negative significantly comparing the control group (P<0.01) except for EmAb. After the second course of treatment, AsAb, AoAb, EmAb, AcA in the treat group transformed negative significantly comparing the control group (P<0.01). The pregnancy rate of two groups of observation there was no significant difference after the firstcourse of treatment. As far as the pregnancy was concerned, there was significant difference between the treat group and the control group after the second course of treatment. Conclusion: Yi Kang Zhu Yun Decoction can reduce or eliminate the effects of serum antibodies on pregnancy in patients with immune sterility, and obviously improve the pregnancy rate.It is an effective and safe treatment medicine for female immune infertility. |
