Objective: The purpose of our present was to study the effect of hyaluronic acid on proliferation ,chondrogenic differentiation of human bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells(h-Mscs).The mechanism of the effect was also discussed. This study provide a basis for the tissue engineering technology of articular cartilage.Mehtods: Human bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells were cultured in vitro as usual. After psssage, they were induced by different medium containing 0.1mg/ml or 0.2mg/ml hyaluronic acid.Mscs cultured in medium containing 10ng/ml TGF β1,which had multiple biological efficacies to accelerate the proliferation and differentiation of Mscs and inhibit the activities of inflammatory factors, act as the positive control. The induced Mscs were observed for proliferation and differentiation. The synthesis of chondrocyte extracellur matrix in different induce factor were measured by staining of Inmunohistochemical. Results: All Mscs with different induce factors proliferate well.Mscs induced by HA demonstrated a chondrogenic differentiation, which had a statistic difference with control. The synthesis of chondrocyte matrix in...
