Investigation And Analysis Of Acute Or Chronic Pain Situation In XIAOYING Street Community Residents. In Hangzhou

Objective To investigate the occurencing and controlling situation of pain in community residents.Methods Two hundred and fifty residents from 80 families were selected with systematic sampling in Meihuabei community and Changmingsixiang community of Xiaoying street by a questionnaire interview, including the cause ,degree of pain, trouble,as well as the method to relive pain.Result Totally,30.4% of the residents suffered from pain, but many of them haven't used the antalgesica scientifically and regularly. Some of residents don't look for the cause of pain and the way to relieve pain actively.Conclusions Publicity of the knowledge about pain should be strengthened. The management ability of pain in community health care institutions(especially the chronic pain sufferers) with necessary facilities should be enhanced to relieve the pain sufferers' distress and improve their living standard.
