Clinical Study On Treating Unstable Angina Pactoris Of Asthenic Qi Blood Stasis With Tong Mai Huo Xin Decoction

Objective:To observe clinical effective of TongMai HuoXi Decoction(TMHXD) on unstable angina and study its therapeutic mechanism.Methods: Sixty patients of unstable angina of Qi deficiency and blood stasis were divided randomly into TMHXD group (30 cases) and control group(30cases).Convensional weastern medical therapy was given to both groups and the TMHXD group received additional TMHXD treatment.The changes of clinical symptoms and laboratory indexes in all the patients were observed before and after treatment. Results: After treatment with the TMHXD, the total effective rate of relieving angina ,improving ECG and meliorating symptoms were respectively 96.7%,76.67%.90.00%, which were significantly better than those of the control group,P<0.05-0.01.Meanwhile GMP-140, ET, MDA decreased and NO.SOD increased; PFVE,SV.CO rose and PFVA, A/E lowered,which were statistically different compared with those of control group , P<0.05-0.01.Conclusions: The TMHXD could effectively resist myocardial ischemia and relieve angina.Its therapeutic mechanism may be related with resisting lipid peroxidation, protecting vascular endothelium .inhibiting the activation of platelets.reducing myocardial oxygen consumption and improving function of heart.
