Clinical And Experimental Study On Treating The Acute Period Of Cerebral Ischemic Stroke By Smearing Lishuihuayu Ointment In Navel

Objective: Based on Chinese and Modern medicine theory to explore the clinical effect and mechanism of treating the acute period of Cerebral Ischemic Stroke by smearing Lishuihuayu Ointment in Navel. Methods: Choose 60 patients whose definite diagnosis is Cerebral Ischemic Stroke, and divide them randomly into treatment group and contrast group, every group has 30 cases. The treatment group is treated by Lishuihuayu Ointment, Qukeluding and 20%Mannitol. The contrast group is treated without Lishuihuayu Ointment. A course of treatment is 15 days. After one course of treatment, observe clinical effect, nerve function defection,and the effects of lipid, blood rheology, MCA blood flow dynamics,micro circulation of nail, etc. The animal experimental study observes the indexes below:water content of brain, thrombus formation, blood platelet gathering,microcirclation of brain, the value of TXB2 and 6-Keto-PGFla in plasma. Results: The remarkably effective rate in the treatment group reached 73.3% and the total effective rate reached 96.7%, while in the contrast group, the remarkably effective rate is only 46.7%, with a total effective rate of 93.3%. There is a remarkable difference between the two groups(p<0.05). In the aspects of improving lipid,MCA blood dynamical parameters, blood viscosity and microcirculation of nail, the treatment group is obviously superior to the contrast group. Animal study shows: Lishuihuayu- Ointment can lighten brain dropsy, resist against thrombus formation and blood platelet gathering, improve the microcirculation of brain in rat, lower the ratio of TXB2/6-Keto-PGFlaConclusion:Smearing Lishuihuayu Ointment in Navel to treat the acute period of CIS is safe and effective.
