| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Fumailing Granule on senile brady arrhythmia and explore its mechanism of effect. Methods: Forty six brady arrhythmia patients were divided randomly into treatment group (32 cases) and control group (24 cases). Fumailing Granule was given to the treatment group. At the same time, the control group recived Xinbao capsule.The changes of clinical symptoms and laboratory indexs in all the patients were observed before and after treatment. Fifty Wister rats were divided randomly into blank control group and group of arteriosclerosis model and high dosage, moderate, minimal dose .To observe the impact of the medication and all the different dosage on the rats' arteriosclerosis . Resu I ts: In the treatment group, the total effective rate of meliorating symptoms (84.38%)were significantly better than those of the control group(70.83%) after six weeks' treatment (P<0.05). Both groups heart rate can be enhanced, and the level of TC?TG?LDL-C?Fg?plasm viscidity of the treatment group were decreased.The animal test suggest that Fumailing Granule can improve the endothelium function of the rat model with arteriosclerosis regulate the level of lipid improve blood stream index and myocardial ischemia .Modem pharmacological research shows this formula can enhance the heart's function by exciting β-R,quicken the electrical currents of heart muscle,improve the heart rate and distend the coronary artery.
