The Expressions Of Rab,Survivin In Carcinoma Of Endometrium And Their Clinical Significance

Endometrial carcinoma is one of the malignant tumors ,which shows higher prevalence among old female in recent years. So identification of endometrial carcinoma-related genes will be helpful for revealing the mechanism of carcinogenesis and treating . The Rab family forms the largest branch of P21 Ras surperfamily and is recognized to regulate various steps of vesicular traffic in eukaryotic cells. Rab4B,Rab24B were cloned in 2002 by the state key laboratory of gene engineering, Fudan University. Survivin is a member of the inhibitor of apoptosis (IAP) gene family. Survivin inhibits cell death and regulates cell division.In this study,the expressions of Rab4B,Rab24B and Survivin genes were detected by RT-PCR in 26 specimens of endometrial carcinoma,17 specimens of normal mucosa and 6 specimens of hyperplasia. The expressions level of Rab4B,Rab24B and Survivin gene in malignant endometrial tissue were significantly higher than those in normal endometrial tissue. In the 26 specimens of endometrial carcinoma,the expression of Survivin in III,â…£grade is higher than that in I,II grade .The present results show that the overexpressions of Rab4B,Rab24B and Survivin genes in endometrial carcinoma might contribute to endometrial carcinogenesis.
