| Objective: To explore the expression and relationship of survivin , cyclin b1 and MVD in human gliomas and study the relationship of survivin expression and proliferation , vascular endothelial cell of glioma, which try to explore the mechanism of glioma.Methods: Expression of survivin , cyclin b , CD34 were assessed by irnmunohistochemistry staining in 41 glioma tissues and 10 normal brain tissues.Results: Survivin was expressed in 25 of 41 (61.0%) cases of glioma. There was significant difference in the clinicopathologic grade(x2=5.939, P<0.05)and the two-year survival time(x2=8.050,P<0.05).There also was a correlation between survivin expression and Cyclin bl(P<0.01, rs=0.836), MVD(P<0.01, rs =0.707).Conclusion: The over expression of survivin plays an important role in the development of glioma, It closely relates with the tumor's pathological grade and prognosis, and probably takes part in the controlling of the cell cycle and the building of tumor's vascular endothelial cell.
