Objesctives:As a special group, the employed nurses have become the necessary force of nursing in military hospitals, Through the investigation of the status quo of employed nurses, patients and some military hospitals' managers in five military hospitals, this thesis studied the administrative mechanism of the employed nurses under the new situation. Its aim is to strengthen the administration of the employed nurses, and to promote the construction and development of the military hospitals. Methods: By using the methods of descriptive research and statistical analysis, questionnaires were conducted to some employed nurses, soldier nurses, department directors discharged patients of the 5 military hospitals , managers and directors of nursing department of some military hospitals, at the same time some civil hospitals and concerning government agencies were interviewed and investigated. A large quantity of data was gathered, which were processed by using statistical software in computers. Results: The number of the employed nurses has occupied 54.08% of the total number of the nurses in the military hospitals. And about 76.98% of their ages are below 25, 65.34% of them have not worked as a nurse for more than three years; most employed nurses expect mostly their wages, prizes and reimbursement being improved ; While 57.14%of the mangement members are satisfied with the employed nurses, and 52.54%of them think that the population of the employed nurses extremely needs to be stablized; The reasons that affect the employed nurses and military nurses to work continually as a nurse are notably diffient( X2=989. 7258, v=10, P=0. 0000). Conclusions: Through analyzing and investigating the causes of the problems, the strategies and methods to strengthen the administration of the employed nurses and stabilize the nursing staff have been put forward (1) Fully understanding the necessity and feasibility of the existence for the employed nurses in military hospital; (2) Perfecting the system of administration for theemployed nurses; (3) Strengthening the development of the nursing profession and improving their whole qualifications.
