Objective to establish heart-qi deficiency model in Wistar rat by complex factors including control feed , forced swimming with cargoes , large dosage of propanolol and controling feed ,forced running ang large dosage of propanolol.Methods Giving background amount of food for 21 days, compelling to swim with a burden of 5% of their weights or to run until they exhausted for 18 days, and feeding a great quantity of Propranolol (2.4mg/100g) for4 days to establish the model of heart-qi deficiency . At the 22th day ,we compared the indexes of the model group's and the normal group's . In order to prove the model was indeed the heart-qi deficiency syndrome model, the authors established the supplement Qi group to compare with .Results Compared with the normal group, the changes of the clinical symptoms ,signs and cardiac function in the model group were coincident with heart-qi deficiency syndrome. For example ,the function of Shrinkage and diastole was bad . SOD and cAMP was decreased significantly .MDA and ANF were in increase,They recoveried after therapying with supplement Qi.Coclusion The multiple methods, giving background amount of food, compelling to swim with burden or to run and feeding Propanololto establish the model of heart-qi deficiency syndrome, are feasible.
