Clinical And Experimental Research On The Treatment Of Primary Dysmenorrhea With Cold-damp Stagnation By YuTongTie

Objective: To look for a new therapeutic thought, method and drug, through studying actual effect of treating primary Dysmenorrhea with cold-damp stagnation by YuTongTie of application method of umbilicus from theoretical., clinical and experimental sides.Methods: All patients are divided into two groups randomly. 90 cases treated with YuTongTie were the treatment group. 60 cases treated with Dysmenorrhea Tie were the control group. Before and after treatment symptoms of each group were observed. The treatment group was observed from all the following aspects: high shear and low shear of blood specific viscosity, fibrimogen in blood rheology; wave amplitude, blood perfusion, the difference of wave amplitude of 2 sides, abnormal wave form in blood flow drawing of pelvic cavity.Results: The patients of primary dysmenorrhea with cold-damp stagnation were associated with the abnormal of microcirculation. The patients showed elevated blood viscosity and abnormal of blood flow of pelvicavity. YuTongTie not only improved the patients' symptoms but also arrested pain through improving blood viscosity and microcirculation of pelvic cavity. The total effective rate of the treatment group was 88.9%, while that of the control group was 66.7%. The difference between the 2 groups was significant highly (P<0.01). The experimental results showed YuTongTie could highly raise pain threshold to rat pain and uterus convulsion caused by acetic acid and oxytocin (P<0. 01, P<0. 001). It could lighten torsive body reaction caused by pain (P< 0. 05, P<0. 001),and the growth of capillary permeability of rat abdominal cavity caused by acetic acid (P< 0. 05). So YuTongTie possessed antiinflammation affection. YuTongTie was safe, because it has no acute toxicity reactions.Conclusions: YuTongTie could improve clinical symptoms and microcirculation of pelvic cavity. It raised pain threshold to arrest pain.
