Clinical And Experimental Studies On Juvenile Bronchial Asthma Treated With The Mixture Of Ping Chuan

This article discussed the mechanism of Juvenile Bronchial Asthma and its differentiation in TCM. We also did some researches in how Mixture of Ping Chuan works in treating asthma though clinical and experimental study.In our study, we found most Juvenile Bronchial Asthma differentiation are simultaneous occurrence of cold and heat syndromes. So we got Mixture of Ping Chuan based on this experience. In clinical research we found Mixture of Ping Chuan can relieve the patient's symptom obviously, the control ratio is 70.0%, and total effect ratio is 96.7%. The patient's lung function improved and the abnormally increased EOS decreased. In experimental research, we observed that the Mixture of Ping Chuan could prolong the latent period of asthma and lower the concentration of WBC, EOS in the blood and B ALF, accelerate apoptosis of EOS in lung, lighten the allergic inflammation of airway, relieve the pathogenic changes of model rats. We also observed no rats dead in acute lexicological experiment, their organ no pathogenic changes found.The result of our research showed the Mixture of Ping Chuan has a good effect in treating Juvenile Bronchial Asthma, with little side effect. And we also find out the mechanism of how Mixture of Ping Chuan works in depressing the airway inflammation, relieving the airway obstruction.
