| This article, which uses the thinking way of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), through the systematic study and inquiry about cases, pathogenesis, therateupic principles and methods of rapid arrhythmia in three aspects of theory, clinic and experiment, aims at the effctire medicine for the ill. The study suggests that phlegmatic heat uncontinuation of heart-pulse and unsteadiness of the heart-spirit form the main pathogenesis of this disease. Based on it, the treatment of clearing heat and dissolving phlegm, relieving mental stress is drawn up. Referring the clinical experence of my tutor, absorbing new outcomes of modem pharmacological study, absorbing the combined way of regulating body' s whole function, improving the internal surroundings of heart and affect the part of heart directly, the recipe QingShan JianXin, which is made into ointment according to medicine standard of technology and qulity, is constituded. We use it to treat premature beat 30 cases and set up 30 cases with XinLuNing as comparative group. The result shows: in the aspect of total effect of premature beat, the experimental group' s obvious effectual rate is 40%, totaleffectual rate is 83.3%. the comprative group' s obvious effectual rate is 23.3%, total effectual rate is 56.66%, the difference shows remarkable significance (P<0.05). In the aspect of syndrome effect, the experimental group's is obviously better than the comparative group's (P<0.05). Experiments shows: the recipe can protect the albino rat' s heart from arrhythmia caused by aconite. The conclusion of the study indicated that the distubence of phlegematic heat is the main pathogenesis of rapid arrhythmia, clearing heat and dissolving phlegm are the main therapeutic priniciples. This study riched the theoretic content of premature beat' s TCM treatment and provided effective new medicine for clinic, It has an important practical value in guiding clinical practice.
