Objective:Through clinical data analysis, to introduce and analyze the method of treatment based on syndrome differentiation of Professor Ding Shuwen curing premature beat. Methods: Choosing 110 complete case files and grouping them into 2 groups naming toxic heat group and nontoxic heat group. Through the multiple logistics regression analysis, researched the relationship between clinical data and the syndrome differentiation on toxic heat. Through calculating the frequency of various drugs in 110 patients, classified the 10 drugs with the highest frequency according to drug effect. Researching the relationship between clinical data and drug compatibility through logistic regression analysis.Results:⑴Multiple logistic regression analysis on clinical data and toxic heat revealed that premature ventricular contraction was positively correlated with toxic heat(OR=12.000, P=0.028), while brachypnea was negatively correlated with toxic heat(OR=0.175,P=0.058). The number of premature beats and normal beats as well as the rate of the two were not related to toxic heat at all.⑵The 10 drugs with the highest frequency were divided into three types, namely, huangqi, maidong and wuweizi aiming at supplementing qi and nourishing yin(98.2%), huanglian, qinghao and kushen aiming at clearing heat and expectoration(90.9%), as well as yuanhu and sanqifen aiming at activating blood and regulating qi(71.8%). Logistic regression analysis on clinical data and drug compatibility revealed: premature ventricular contraction was positively correlated with the use of huanglian, qinghao and kushen(OR=6.563,P=0.013), while pectoralgia was on the contrary (OR=0.150,P=0.010); premature supraventricular contraction(OR=0.170, P=0.000) and loose stool (OR=0.090,P=0.058) were negatively correlated with the use of yuanhu and sanqifen. Conclusion: Premature ventricular contraction was the major factor of syndrome differentiation on toxic heat. Huangqi, maidong and wuweizi were often used as a matter of routine; Huanglian, qinghao and kushen were often used accompanied with premature ventricular contraction; Yuanhu and sanqifen were less used when premature supraventricular contraction and loose stool appeared.
