Present treating measures primarily include :anti-acid,improving the gastrointestinal motility. HP-radiating, anti-depression et al.In TCM DD is like "WeiPi"Stomach fullness and oppression),"WeiHuan"Stom-ach dysmotility),which clinical symptoms are distention of the epigastrium ZaoBao with or without eructation ~ NaDai et al caused or aggravated by such fctors as emotion ~. fatigues injuries from diet, cold et al .DD is thought as a symptom complexdeficiency of spleen as the primary and depression of liver as the secondary in TCM, having several symptom types such as :Deficiency of spleen and stomach Deficiency of spleen and stomach fever~, Hepatic qi affecting the stomachs Depression of qi and blood et al. Accordingly the treating methods are Strengthening the spleen and tonifying the qi ~. Dissipating the heat and detoxing. Activating the qi and blood et al.After using these methods the whole statement of the body can be well adjusted and without much money. Convicing the curative effect of TCM is just the problem we've got to solve.In this research we choose Tablet XiaoZhang as the observing object,Motilium as the contrasting object and advance both the clinical research and animal experiment.1?Clinical ResearchAll the cases were attained from the out-patient or in-patient department of first afluliated hospital of GuangZhou university of T.C.M.,charactcrized by DD and TCM differentiation of Deficiency of spleen and stomach . Deficiency of spleen and stomach fever. Hepatic qi affecting the stomach. Total 64 cases were taken into theresearch and randomized into treated group(43) and contrasted group(2 1). Patients were single -blinded treated with Tablet XiaoZhang 4p.Tid,and in contrasted group treated with Motiiium 10mg. Tid for 4 weeks. Complaints by patients of distention of the epigastrium~ ZaoBao ~. eructation. NaDai et al were scored and rccored detailedly per 1 week on a basis of a routine standard sepemtly in the beginning of the treatment. In result ,treated group had a total curative effect of 88.37% while contrasted group is 90.48%.Comparison between the total curative effect of two groups showed no significant difference (p>O.05).At the same time ,the comparison between the occurency rate of sideeffect and the relapsing rate showed that Tablet XiaoZhang had a markedly lower oecuracy rate in the both respects. All those above proved that Tablet XiaoZhang has a exact curative effect and superiority of low side-effect and low relapsing rate.2~.Animal ExperimentIn this experiment, the prokinetic effects of Tablet XiaoZhang on gastric emptying and small intestinal promotion of phenol red semisolid were evanuatcd, and we have also observed the effects on MTL and GAS. hydrochloric acid. pcpsin.The result is:Granulae XiaoZhang had observably inhibited gastric emptying rate of the normal mice(jp<0.01)at the low and normal dose, but can remarkably increase small intestinal promotion ratc(p<0.01)at the same doses.
