| The cause of death of cat suspected as FPV infection from hospital was analysed from the aspects of aetiology and pathology in this study. According to the epidemiology features, clinical symptoms and pathological changes, the disease was diagnosed as feline panleucopenia combined with the result of laboratory diagnosis, such as the detection of molecular biology. The possibility of bacterial infection was excluded by the result of bacteriology detection. Next, the virus was isolated using F81 cells, and was fully identified by electron microscope negative staining, the determination of physico-chemical property, animal regression test and PCR. The result showed that one FPV isolate was successfully isolated from spleen, and was named as FPV/JL/09/CC. The etiological factor was further analyzed by the aspects of pathology except for the aspect of aetiology. The observation result of pathology showed that liver, lung, spleen, kidney and intestine all occurred pathological changes. Thecardiac muscle fiber occurred granular degeneration and blood capillary among cardiac muscle fiber showed distension and congestion. The abdominal cavity organ such as liver and intestine occurred hydrohymenitis. Large of fibrin were observed on the capsule or ectoptygma. At present, there was still no reasonable explanation for the phenomenon. The lung showed the changes of interstitial pneumonia. The interstitial pneumonia mainly occurred uunder the condition of viral infection. So we presume the occurrence reason mainly caused by viral infection. Combined with other detection results, the disease could be correct diagnosis. The spleen showed the change of acute inflam spleen swelling. This suggested that the immune organ sufferred severe injury, thus leading to the decrease of resistance. This was an important reason of sick cat occurring quickly died. Renal tubular epithelial cells occurred granular degeneration and fatty degeneration. Acute renal corpusclenephritis.The brain appeared Non-suppurative encephalitis. The experiment result mentioned above showed FPV infection was the direct reason of the death of sick cat.At present, feline panleucopenia was a contagious disease having a wide host range, high morbidity and mortality, and constructed serious threaten for cat family animals and other some widelife. The dead cause of a disease was further analyzed from the aspect of pathologic histology by carrying on pathology section for the heart, liver, lung, kidney and intestine. The study not only could provide wide background data for the diagnosis of feline panleucopenia, but also provide theory evidence for exact diagnosis and prevention and cure for a kind of cat family, mustela family and coon family, thus having simportant practical significance. |
