The major results were as follows:(1) 162 F2 individuals were randomly selected as the genetic mapping population which were from the cross of the Egyptian variety A Lian and the Chinese variety Fu Hong 992.(2)Taq DNA polymerase, accumulated in and extracted from recombinant E.coli strainin our laboratory, be used to amplified the DNA fragment.(3) we analyze polymorphic bands of PCR amplication by standard RAPD primer and RAPD double- primers pair and firstly constructe a genetic linkage map in Kenaf by using RAPD double- primers pair.(4)18 ISSR primers,24 standard RAPD primers and 85 RAPD double- primers pairs were screened out as polymorphic primers to be used to construct this genetic map.(5)These polymorphic molecular markers generated 217 polymorphic bands in PCR amplification of the F2 population. The polymorphic bands produced by one primer/pair range from 1 to 6 with an average of 1.7.(6) Using MAPMAKER / 3.0EXP, a linkage genetic map of kenaf was constructed, which consisted of 18 ISSR markers, 25 standard RAPD markers and 114 RAPD double-primers markers distributed in 23 linkage groups(L0D≥6.0 max distance=26cM) and covered 2491.2cM with an average distance of 15.8cM.Another 60 markers had not been joined into any linkage group. The maximum distance between the adjacent markers was 48.4cM, and the Minimum 0 cM.
