Study On The Ecological Adaptability Of Yacon (Smallanthus Sonchifolius) In Midland Of Hebei

Yacon (Smallanthus sonchifolius) is dicotyledonous herbage from helianthus of the composite, which was originally cultivated in South America in the Andean highlands. In appropriate conditions, the stem of yacon can grow to 2 meters. Ripe fruit (root) looks like sweet potato, with good nutritional value and health benefits. 80s in the 20th century, Japan and some of European countries had introduced Yacon successfully. At present, Yacon has been introduced successfully in Yunnan Province and other regions of China, but systematic study about Yacon in China has rarely reported. In this study, through the sowing date test, fertilization test and type test, we investigate the dynamic rule of yacon's agricultural traits, the variation of Chlorophyll fluorescence parameters of yacon's leaf, while analyzing the complexion of yield, quanlity and enzyme activity of yacon's fruit in the three ways. The main results were as follows:1 Timely early sowing can increase fruit yield and quality of Yacon. But too early sowing have made the quality of fruit declined, in increased the yield of Yacon the same time. The Sowing dateâ…¡(March 26) of this study is the best time to obtain the best quality and high yield of fruit.2 Yacon of different origin has different yield and quality. During the same period of this study, the quality of fruit produced in Mountain foothills is better than produced in Central Hebei Plain Area. However, the yield gap is small between the two origin.3 Fertilization can not only promote growth of yacon, but also to increase the yield and improve the quality. However, the yield and quality of yacon have been repressed with bloom of yacon's leaves. So the plant of yacon has been under control, when the eugenic phase of yacon's root. In this study, the plant of yacon with HA compound fertilizer treatment T3 and Chemical fertilizer treatment T3 is better than other treatments. However, the yield and quality of yacon are the best with Compoud fertilizer treatment T3, the same with the activity of polyphenol oxidase and ascorbic acid oxidase of fruit. Final, fertilization can improve the nutrient content of soil.4 The tuber of yacon has degenerative through asexual reproduction on many occasions.
